As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence, BARRIQUE SA has entered into a strategic collaboration with the esteemed Austrian cooperage, Fassbinderei Schneckenleitner.

Founded in 1628 and proudly family-run since 1880, Schneckenleitner is internationally recognised for its exceptional craftsmanship and use of premium Austrian oak. Under the guidance of fifth-generation Master Cooper Paul Schneckenleitner, the cooperage continues to thrive in a fully integrated, state-of-the-art facility in Waidhofen an der Ybbs. Their barrels, puncheons and other vessels are trusted by discerning winemakers around the world.

Thanks to this exciting partnership, BARRIQUE SA is now proud to offer a premium selection of Schneckenleitner barrels and puncheons as pre-orders, crafted from tight-grained Weidling Oak (Quercus Petraea), prized for its subtle aromatic impact and outstanding wood quality.

*Please note that the production cut-off date is 31 August 2025. The cooperage does not keep barrels and puncheons in stock, they are custom-made to order and available exclusively through pre-orders.
